Lerica Tax Accountants are now registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP)

Have you received a Companies House email recently asking you to verify directors’ and people with signification control (PSCs) identity?

From Autumn 2025, all directors and other members will need to be verified with Companies House.

You can of course follow the link in the email to verify yourself with Companies House.

Alternatively, we can now do this on your behalf now we are registered as an ACSP.

If you would like us to verify you as a director on Companies House, please get in touch with us.

If we verify you:

We will require two forms of identification (e.g. a passport, driving licence, utility bill, council tax bill). We should already have these on our system however we will let you know if we need anything further from you.

We will need to keep a record of this for 7 years.

We envisage the fee will be approx. £95 plus VAT if we already have your ID and it is accepted by Companies House.  This may increase if there are issues with ID, delays in receiving this and potential issues with proving the personal code and linking your ID to companies’ house records.

Verifying yourself:

Please note that only one email address can be used to verify a director. Therefore, if you and your partner share an email address, you will need to create a new email address to verify yourself with Companies House.

By verifying yourself, you will generate a Companies House personal code which must be kept safe in your records. If you would like to forward this to us, we are happy to add this to the client record that we hold for you.

You will be required to link your verified identity to the Companies House records by providing your personal code and a verification statement for each company role you hold. We are currently waiting to hear from Companies House with more information on how to do this.

If you would like us to verify you with Companies House, please contact us.
