Claire Swain

A well-respected Chartered Tax Adviser with over 25 years’ experience, Managing Director, Claire started her training at PwC and later KPMG in Bristol. She completed her Chartered Tax exams with Bath-based Target Chartered Accountants, where she qualified in 1999. In 2009 she set up her own Bristol-based accountancy practice, Quro Accountancy, which led to the merger with David Reed Associates in April 2013.

As well as providing expert tax advice to numerous owner managed businesses over the last 25 years, Claire also specialises in Inheritance Tax Planning and holds an Advanced Certificate in Will Planning with CT Law and a SWAT UK Certificate in Probate and Estate Management.

She loves supporting her expert and friendly team – most of whom have been with her for many years – offering clients a consistent approach to stress-free accounting and a tax compliant service.

When she’s not working, Claire enjoys city breaks in Europe and skiing with friends and her two boys. Over summer she loves nothing better than walking her two dogs – Brodie and Tisha – on the beach in Cornwall, sampling the local cuisine and barbecuing with family.
